HiPP Organic Quality

Stricter than EU organic: The HiPP Organic Guarantee stands for purest quality.

Babies and toddlers are highly sensitive, so organic food is the ideal choice for their diet. However, statutory organic quality marks alone offer no guarantee that raw materials are genuinely free from pollutants.

For this reason, we subject our products to extremely rigorous testing, applying standards that extend beyond the legal norm for organic foods. Raw materials receive their first inspection from our staff straight after delivery. If our inspectors have any complaints the goods are not even accepted.

The objective is to use only the purest ingredients, so we analyse them for traces of over 1,000 different substances. Only the products that pass our comprehensive inspection system earn the HiPP Organic Seal of Quality and end up in our jars.

+ Almost 70 years of experience in organic farming:

  • started 1956 organic farming was introduced into the family-owned farm.
  • today HiPP conducts research on practical farming methods on this farm. The fi ndings are then put into practice on our HiPP organic farms.

+ Detection of contaminants:

  • more stringent limit values than required by law
  • in house HiPP laboratory, accredited by DAkkS*: Analysis for up to 1,200 contaminants possible. Enables high standards through modern and intensive analysis of raw materials, intermediate and end products for residues and contaminants.

+ Sustainability and environmental responsibility:

  • use of renewable sources
  • research to preserve species and promote biodiversity
  • animal welfare-friendly farms that follow our strict HiPP guidelines

*German Accreditation Body (DAkkS), the national accreditation authority of the Federal Republic of Germany.

HiPP goes beyond organic

HiPP’s own standards for organic production go far beyond those guaranteed by the EU Organic Logo. But which standards does HiPP go beyond? What does the HiPP Organic Seal stand for and why is organic quality so important for children’s health?
