Made from natural ingredients

The HiPP tube feeds are made from natural ingredients. The nutrients are primarily derived from natural ingredients such as milk, fruit, vegetables, meat, and vegetable oils.

Composition in 500ml milk based HiPP tube feed

Low-fat milk and meat (e.g. chicken or beef) are valuable sources of protein.
Vegetables (e.g. carrots or pumpkins) and fruit (e.g. bananas or apples) are natural sources of carbohydrates and fibre and also supply crucial vitamins, minerals and secondary plant compounds from the ingredients they contain.
Rapeseed and sunflower oil supply valuable fats with a high amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids.
We do not add flavourings or preservatives.

Reimbursement

Our HiPP tube feeds can be prescribed*. All HiPP tube feeds can be administered using all standard delivery systems with a connection for wide-neck bottles, both via gravity feeding and pump systems.

Relevant HiPP information material

1) Please note that carrots, due to their natural components (pectins), may have a stool-firming effect. We therefore recommend not using this tube feed as the sole source of nutrition if stool is already firm. Please consult your physician or dietitian.
2) Please note that apples and pears, due to their natural components (fructose, sorbitol), may have a stool-loosening effect. We therefore recommend not using this tube feed as the sole source of nutrition if stool is already loose. Please consult your physician or dietician.

Instructions for use

500 ml wide-neck bottle suitable for use with all standard administration sets with a wide-neck connector
Administration via an enteral feeding pump is recommended
Adjust the dosage (feeding volume in ml per hour) according to individual tolerance
